Glenmorangie Ealanta
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland

NOSE
Creamy vanilla, oak, spice, malt, citrus, caramel, light butterscotch and banana taffy.
Wow, the nose on this Glenmorangie Ealanta is wonderful. Robust and full of french pastry elegance.
PALATE
Same creamy vanilla starter but with a heavier caramel, malt and banana (banana caramel malted shake anyone?), fresh pastries, oak, cinnamon and some butterscotch and citrus.
The “oak” note is a bit more subdued here and it’s a bit sweeter than the nose on the whole, but retains its beautiful balance.
FINISH
Long -> Creamy vanilla, caramel, oak, spice and honied graham on a birthday cake fade.

@TheWhiskeyJug Nice. I bet you’ve tried more of them than anyone on Distiller. Interested to hear what your favorites are once the series is complete.
@ctbeck11 I have15 or so more to go. I've been saving up these reveiews and samples for a couple of years to be able to do a mega run and comparison.
@cascode They're not still making this, it's an older bottle from the original release.
Are they still making this or is it an older bottling? I’ve not seen it available for years.
You must have found Mary Poppins’ bag of Glenmorangies. I didn’t know so many existed. How many more do you have on deck?
