On the nose I get some citrus and fruit. What is noticeable is it’s nicely balanced.
On the palate I get more citrus and fruit with a splash of sherry. Again it’s nicely balanced.
The finish provides a nice spice and another taste I haven’t identified. The length is long which for this whisky is very enjoyable.
The mouth feel is typical of pot still whiskies, a nice creaminess
Where me and my son differ is the resting period. I preferred the initial sips and thought it lost a lot from resting where he was just the opposite. At under $60 for this whisky there is no reason it shouldn’t be on your shelf.
