Quite tamed compared to the few peated whiskies I've tried. Very well balanced in weight/body, alcohol, and peat. Flavors of apple, honey, mushroom (earthy richness & umami), cashew nuttiness, slight tar, and black tea-like tannins. Medium-long finish and medium oily body
