Càrn Mòr Glen Grant 1992 (26 Years)
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed
March 21, 2022 (edited March 23, 2022)
Nose begins with strong apples and pears like a typical Speysider, then berries, toasty malt, citrus, dried fruits and flowery notes join in. Delightful!
Palate is supple, a little chewy and semisweet. The apple and pear notes are most prominent with citrus, pastry, nuts and dried fruits trying to make themselves known.
Finish is long and spicy.
Thanks to @ContemplativeFox for the sample.

@jdriip I haven't tried the 12, but I do have the 18 and I think it's competitive with this. I'm regretting not thinking to include that now.
@ContemplativeFox the only other Glen Grant I’ve tried was the 12 year. I liked this much better.
This one (and Glen Grant in general) has really grown on me. I need to go back now and try to pick out some of those flavors you mentioned :)
