Malty sweet aroma, little bit of fruit. Flavor is immediately a bigger hit than 2017, intense and rich. Not a fiery peat, but a heavy butterscotch sweetness with some kick from the proof. A light pepper spice shows up on the tail, which is wonderfully long. The sweetness lingers there perfectly, you can sit with the flavor forever. Excellently done.
