Get this monkey off my shoulder! I keep trying to chase it away, but when I let down my guard, it’s back. What was that about orange marmalade and warm honey on toast? That’s pretty spot on, actually. Although, I find it more orange-blossomy and fresh, than jammy. I get a bit of maple in there, also. And the finish isn’t quite long, but it is quite round, filling my pallet with a really rich evolution of all the flavors in the mid-pallet. The final note is always pleasant mic drop of creme brûlée (on the light side) and orange blossoms. At this price point, I could see this being a go-to. I wouldn’t call it a value pick, since from what I can tell that tends to suggest the best cheap stuff one can buy. This is more like the cheapest best stuff. I’ll probably keep this on my short list of things to keep on my shelves at all times. This monkey may be on my shoulder for some time…
