Nose: Sweet oak coupled with baking spices. A lot of vanilla, maple syrup and or brown sugar. The barrel is present on the nose. Palate: vanilla sweetness definitely transfers to the palate. Cinnamon on the back end. With a nice oak presence. Finish: Medium long finish to long with no off putting after taste. The oak is definitely present at the end in a good way. Lone Elm is my favorite wheat whiskey. I found my bottle in North Carolina. What am I going to do when my bottle runs out?
