Straw color. Peat-forward nose, with notes of vanilla, grilled peaches, bacon, campfire marshmallows and iodine. Mouthfeel is thin, almost watery, which is surprising considering the long legs on the glencairn. The palate is dominated by smoked bacon, along with fresh laid asphalt, potting soil, peppercorns, a faint herbal note like dried rosemary and a mild honey sweetness. The finish is medium-long and dry with honey baked ham, grilled meats, faint bandaids, iodine and dried rosemary.
