Port Charlotte 10 Year
Single Malt
Port Charlotte // Islay, Scotland
Port Charlotte 10 Year is a permanent addition to Bruichladdich’s portfolio, replacing the multi-vintage Scottish Barley bottling. Made with 100% Scottish barley sourced from Inverness-shire, it is matured in a combination of casks: 65% first-fill American whiskey, 10% second-fill American whiskey, and 25% second-fill French wine casks.
Port Charlotte represents Bruichladdich’s heavily peated single malt line, with barley peated to 40 ppm. Bottled at 50% ABV, it is non-chill-filtered and bottled without added color.

Tasting Notes
"Bruichladdich's Port Charlotte 10 Year falls on the peatier side of the Islay spectrum, but that's not to say it lacks complexity. Its assertive phenols are balanced by a gentle sweetness and notes of vanilla, hay, and orange peel. This very welcome addition to the regular Bruichladdich line-up earns a spot alongside more familiar Islay whiskies."
