Light amber. Store sampling, hard to draw a conclusion but my impression was thin and relatively fruity with an element of Mexican street corn, apricot, vanilla and a tannic/bitter tea note that throws the whole mix. Very little if the mesquite note from its red-labeled bourbon brother on this one. Seems to be going for the Buffalo Trace crowd.

@Ctrexman I made it a point to read this in the most country voice I possibly could, people have said the same about my own mental health
Corn whiskey has limitations for sure.......I mean it aint barley right
Picked up a bottle of this on special a few days ago - it seems to have an uneven rep but at the price it was worth a try. Not opened yet, but soon.
Honestly I think this one may be of inconsistent quality. I first had it after a friend raved about, so I bought it and wasn’t impressed. Drank through it with no change in opinion. More recently I had some at an airport bar in Dallas and thought it was amazing (and no I wasn’t drunk). 🤷🏻♂️
@Bourbon_Obsessed_Lexington .....I meant Badfinger.......Baby Blue
@Ctrexman I tried talking up their rep and basically deteriorated into pleading they bring their peated malt here… don’t think I was very convincing
Guess you got what you deserved
