some fruity notes, maybe berries on the nose with heavy alcohol underneath.
Pine and earthen flavors on the palate plus maple, rather oily
Hearty burn early on the finish due to the proof followed by a medium long aftertaste with some spiciness.
I'm not sure I got the balance that I read about in another review, the proof punch at the beginning of the finish throws me. Between the two I much prefer Noah's brother, Rowan Creek. Overall this is pretty good but my opinion is tinged by a steep price tag.
