Distiller review No. 600
I swear I heard Frank singing the entry of Cheek to Cheek when I first nosed this amazing whiskey. Chocolate, orange peel, espresso, malt, vanilla, fruit leather, baking spices fill my nostrils inducing a temporary raptured condition. I could nose this for days.
The notes from the nose continue on the rich, viscous and semisweet palate and lengthy finish. The only mar on this otherwise excellent whiskey is a slight, and I mean slight, artificially sweet note towards the end of the finish.
I want to have this Scotch always on my shelf!

@soonershrink glad you got to try it, I liked it better than you did obviously, and will replace my current nearly empty bottle with another asap.
Tried this one tonight. I also didn't care for the oddly too chocolatey finish.
@jdriip i have a feeling they compromised on the age. I think maybe that first batch was older ,and then subsequently lowered the age. No proof…just my logic wondering that’s the only reason of a price going down
@PBMichiganWolverine nice! That’s amazing to me that the price actually decreased
@Ctrexman you won’t regret it
I had the first batch when it came out. Was $300 then…this might have be the only whiskey that has actually gone down in price. Was amazing whiskey though
And now I want it
