Nose: first smells… green. I picture a field and a little pond. After it breathes and I take a first sip I pick up more of the oak and traditional bourbon smells. Very interesting to me. I can’t get a deep enough whiff of this.
Color: dark. (I don’t really understand color yet… so, yeah looks real good clear, dark amber. Real nice color.)
Legs: Thick. They are slow, so slow. And thick. This means it’s oily?

it’s great. I’ve been trying to figure out the difference between good bourbon and ok bourbon. The only thing I can say for certain is the “purity” of a sip… On the finish, or at least at the back of my throat, ok bourbon ($24-60) has a harsh, bitter taste. Like it’s burnt maybe…. This, doesn’t have that it’s clean all the way through. Such a pure taste.
