Nose: first smells… green. I picture a field and a little pond. After it breathes and I take a first sip I pick up more of the oak and traditional bourbon smells. Very interesting to me. I can’t get a deep enough whiff of this. Color: dark. (I don’t really understand color yet… so, yeah looks real good clear, dark amber. Real nice color.) Legs: Thick. They are slow, so slow. And thick. This means it’s oily? Pallete: (I’ll have to edit this later - ) it’s great. I’ve been trying to figure out the difference between good bourbon and ok bourbon. The only thing I can say for certain is the “purity” of a sip… On the finish, or at least at the back of my throat, ok bourbon ($24-60) has a harsh, bitter taste. Like it’s burnt maybe…. This, doesn’t have that it’s clean all the way through. Such a pure taste.300.0 USD per Bottle

Kentucky Owl Bourbon (Batch #11)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 4, 2022 (edited September 12, 2022)Oak nose, with some sweetness Palette - can’t really compare to other bourbons I’ve had to date… there’s a medicinal (maybe cherry taste) that reminds me of four roses. Then a creamy flavor, reminds me of chocolate, and cornbread, and a bit of gummy bear. Finish is long (at least in throat) , reminds me of sugary dough A warm dough, And the smell of Mexican ice cream cones.
