@PBMichiganWolverine Campbeltown Loch is a blended scotch produced by Springbank. It’s a blend of Springbank, Longrow and grain whisky. There is a core NAS and there have been age statements in the past, but I have not seen any for ages.
@soonershrink Yes, Gauldrons was the last of this series to be produced. It is almost certainly a teaspooned Glen Scotia. There have been a couple of batch releases and they varied quite a bit.
@PBMichiganWolverine The Gauldrons Campbeltown blended malt is by Douglas Laing. I've never come across it though. There's also a recently released Gauldrons Sherry edition.
@soonershrink @cascode is the Cambeltown one called Cambeltown Loch? That tends to have the Springbank effect…flies off the shelf
@cascode is the Gauldrons considered part of this series. Haven’t been able to find that one, but a Campbeltown blended malt sounds delish.
@ContemplativeFox I’ve enjoyed all of the regional malts series but yes this one is first among equals.
I can't remember if I've tried all of the regions in this set, but Rock Oyster has definitely been the stand-out so far.
