Unmistakably Islay, and yet with a difference. Gone is the overcast Scottish Seaside, with notes of brine and seaweed, and in is the old time medicine. That cough syrup you loved as a child. It's rich and warm, with a real sweetness under its smokey facade, and yet it does all of this without the indelicate intensity of a Speyside.
Very nice indeed.
