Nose: Floral, sweet, lemon dish soap
Palate: Light & fruity, grapefruit, melon, apricot, Biscotti biscuits, fruit syrup, vanilla ice cream
Finish: Medium short finish. Sweet, gristy, baked goods, buttered corn
This is a decent grain whisky. Sweet, fruity and syrupy. Loads of bourbon notes. Generally OK.

@cascode I absolutely love this stuff. I was on honeymoon in Exmouth at start of year. Where we were staying had plenty of typical bourbons and a few johnnies but they also had the Coffey malt, I am yet to buy a bottle, but that grew on me the whole time I was away. Excellent quality in these bottles
I loved this the first time I tasted it at a whisky show a few years back and I bought a bottle, but it is still unopened and I’ve not tasted the stuff since. Hmm, maybe I should open it sooner rather than later. My good impression might have been due to context, and the preceding 30 or so whiskies I’d had 😜
