Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland

Bottled at cask strength, 55.9% ABV. Appears to be natural color. No info about chill filtering.
C: Pale gold
N: Malted barley, cereal, pear, banana, fusil, caramel
P: Oily, hot, pear, lemon
F: Sour, hot, sweet, short to medium, very late in the finish, after I think it’s over I get a mushroom, fungus, funky taste, similar to what I get with a Springbank 10
Overall, a tasty dram with some good complexity that I have a hard time explaining in my tasting notes.
