Just did a 4 way RYE blind with Sagamore 8, Pikesville, E.H. Taylor and this bottle. It didnt win like I expected it to (came in third) but still damn good! Oily and mouth coating with a long finish. Nothing normal for a rye nose IMO: spiced apple and chamomile. The flavor was herbal & floral, a real bouquet, also light rye spice and earthiness. An experience for sure, but I like a touch more fruit and sweet notes.
