Those fresh white oak barrels definitely give this a woody pull. Barrel resin and light molasses over a leathery layer with medium viscosity. Medium heat that has a peppery bite and a wash that ends with a hay and tobacco touch. A few drops of water mellows the whole ride out, though ice unjustly mutes it. If you’re a fan of the lighter aged Old Potrero, this is probably up your alley. Nice sipper.
