Nose: yes, it does smell of cake. Dense vanilla cream cheese frosting. Very sweet fruits of oranges and cherries with a light pear and raspberry. Taste: sour lemons and light yellow cake with a sweet tres leches caramel drizzle and slight grape jelly. Water dampens some of the harsher malt notes and let’s the fruit shine through.
