On the nose, molasses and black pepper feature heavily with vanilla and a Madeira brandy note also present. Faint but also present are notes of apricot or unripened mango. Upon tasting, the mouth swish does not fill the nasal passage with many notes. Vanilla, molasses, and black pepper notes feature in the nasal passage but these dissipate quickly. The swish fills the throat with vanilla, black pepper, and apricot but also dissipates rapidly with very little alcohol burn. Overall nose and taste 2/5. Very simple and typical low proof offering.
