While some clam Buffalo Trace bourbon is the flagship bourbon from the Buffalo Trace distillery, I believe that statement is wrong. EAGLE RARE is thee flagship of the Buffalo Trace distillery. The whole thing started there with THIS bourbon way back in the 1970's. At 10 Years aged before bottle consideration, it is truly an Ultra Surprise when it comes to the tasting. This beauty goes for high dollar in many circles. Here in the local area, it is available at a very affordable price. Discerning bourbon aficionados will know immediately - THIS is one to keep on hand at all times - IF you can find it... Salud!
