For the proof it is very sweet with a right amount of burn. It was a pleasant surprise. Notes of chocolate, Pecan, with a sweet caramel drizzle. There's also some lemon, apple and pepper hiding in there as it finishes on a caramel oak note. High proof or not, it's an excellent bottle.
