Peated Single Malt — Islay, Scotland

Nose - smokey and peaty. Smells like a classic scotch. Rubbery, leathery, herbal. Maybe controversial opinion but smells a little like caol ila. Mellow. Not too sharp on the nose. Tongue - right off the bat, a smoky hit. Spicy and herbal. Goes down easy. A little oily. Rounded. But the finish is short. Leaves a good aftertaste but doesn't last long. Overall a really a good scotch!
