On the nose i just smell coffee or perhap close to a dark beer like a stout. it's taste like a creamy iced coffee that have been left far too long before drinking it with a slight hint of whisky. It probably would have been interesting if the proof was above 40%. At 30% I can barely taste the whisky and the finish disappear right away. Might used in a mixed drink or in a hot day with milk and ice if I want a iced coffee drink. If you like coffee you probably enjoy it, but if you want to actually taste whisky, stay clear.
