Nose: Sweet and sour wine soaked cranberries, dried berries (red and white cranberries, strawberries), fresh dark chocolate, fine and spicy European oak, a touch of spicy ginger and turmeric, rose petals, brandy-esque bittersweet note, some quality Swiss milk chocolate, sweet slightly tannic wine, a slight leafy earthiness, nutmeg, walnuts and hazelnuts, slight onion and chilli powder, grape soda, purple grape candy, watermelon candy, sweet traces of bakers yeast, candied orange peel, candied lemon peel, baking spices (clove, cardamom), some soft black pepper, dried blueberries, candied nectarines, peach gummy candies, some sweet toasty American oak, celery and fennel, Spanish brandy herbal notes, slight eau de cologne floral notes, sweet cinnamon stewed medley of dried fruits (dates, rich raisins, prunes), candy cigarettes with red fruits (red plums, raspberries), light vanilla and graham crumbs, buttermilk creaminess
Palate: Sweet and spicy oak with chocolate covered cranberries, spicy nutmeg and cracked pepper stewed prunes, floral (lavender), slightly smoky malted barley, chestnuts soaked in reduced port, spicy vanilla pod, slight candied lemon peel, dried strawberries with spicy gingersnaps, cranberry ginger ale, sweet plums
Finish: Granola bar with dried berries (blueberries, raspberries, cranberries), light soapiness, toasted European oak (French), slight marine note, mild chestnut note, light black pepper with mint and cherry cola
