Nose: Spicy, nutty. I detect some alcohol notes. Palate: Heavy spice up front. I detect a peanut note that the smell definitely predicted. Finish: Does not linger long. The spice coats the back of your throat, but it is not heavy with flavor. Overall, this is a very spicy whiskey. There is a slight nutty quality, but nothing of note. I am slightly disappointed by the one note nature, however, it is enjoyable enough as a sipper.
