One winter in Rio Grande do Sul, a gentleman with a Caribbean accent visited the Weber Haus still and was impressed with the quality of the Cachaças tasted.
Before leaving, he challenged Evandro Weber to create an excellent rum that could surpass the best labels in the Americas.
The provocation stayed in Evandro's mind for years, until he decided to comply with the request of that mysterious visitor, who didn't even know the name.
The bottle 001 is on display at the Weber Haus boutique, on the romantic route in Rio Grande do Sul, awaiting the return of this "Señor" to attest whether the challenge was met.
This Brazilian Premium Rum was stored for two years in three different woods (Amburana, Balsam and Oak Barrels). Made from sugarcane molasses, it can be enjoyed pure, as an excellent aged distilled beverage. Light, it has an alcohol content of 38, aromatic, sweet and woody, rich in sensorial terms.
Source: Casa das Bebidas, Cachaçaria Nacional and Weber Haus.
