Engenho Dom Tápparo was created on the initiative of Mr. José Tápparo, who in 1978 decided to produce cachaça for his own consumption and as a gift to friends. The drink was so successful that connoisseurs started wanting to buy it. It was then that he saw a business opportunity in this activity. Over the years, and the entry of the sons Ademílson and Carlos in the company, the mill grew and began to produce various types of cachaça, alcoholic cocktails and liqueurs. Today, the company has the collaboration of the third generation of the Tápparo family: Bruno, Giovanni, Breno, Marcus, Fernando and Carla.
