With its still located in the city of Dores do Turvo, in the state of Minas Gerais, Cachaça So Nicó has been produced for 38 years with love and dedication. Art that was passed down from grandfather to grandson, maintaining the tradition in a completely handmade way and with strict quality controls, guaranteeing excellence to connoisseurs. Currently, a young couple, grandson and his wife, are in charge of the still and the production of this award-winning cachaça. The sugar cane plantation is cultivated on the farm itself and the harvest is done manually. After grinding, the juice is naturally fermented, without chemical additives, which is a great differential that is directly linked to the quality and flavor of the cachaça. Its distillation in a copper still brings the end of the production process and storage in noble wood barrels begins.
Cachaça Sô Nicó Jequitibá is stored in jequitibá barrels for one year. With 42% alcohol content, the distillate has a clear, dense and bright appearance, a fine aroma of floral and fruity notes, with a sweet, soft and intense taste. The drink is an excellent cachaça, full-bodied and with balanced acidity, in addition to pairing well with fresh cheese and various fish. Notes: aromatic, sugar cane sweetness, floral, fruity, good body, alcohol, balanced acidity and sugar, prolonged finish.
