Nose has both overripe and underripe bananas, celery, carmel , vanilla, molasses, honey, some unusual spices that I can’t decipher, and some weird funkiness, not quite like the Jamaican rums. It’s not super appealing, yet very interesting, and i find myself returning to it like a dog to a stinky sock.
On the palate it’s semisweet and somewhat viscous with brown sugar, caramel, vanilla, baking spices, bananas and other light tropical fruits, plus those unusual spices notes and hints of celery.
Finish is medium length with smoldering spices and a little bit of that weird funkiness.
