Definitely a touch of that young medicinal-oak-tannin hit on the nose and beginning of the pallet. Mid pallet opens up into a nice creamy vanilla carmel, then it finishes with a bit of a strong punch with that young note coming a little big back into view. Good stuff overall, not spectacular though.
