Nose: Maritime and Smoke. Pepper on savory meat. Delicate wine influence. Burnt carmel and raspberries Palate: Starts thin and then slowly expands in a leathery tabacco and salt water and country ham. Finish: Is oak spice, clove and spiced orange Buddies came back from Scotland and poured me a dram of this. Add water opened up smoke and grassy character on the nose. Amplified smokiness and oak spice for me with orange lingering in the finish.
