The nose starts with over ripened tomato, stone fruits and campfire. There is a mineral/vegetal note similar to mezcal
The palate instantly says mezcal (which I’ve never seen in a whisky) with a warm and smokey hit that transitions to a peppered rye. Dark red bbq burnt ends help round out the palate.
The finish is fairly long with a dry, peppered beef jerky
This isn’t your typical scotch
