This whiskey drank well for barrel proof. A little empty in the middle of the pallet. Strong rye spice and toased wood cary this pour through the whole sip. I whish it had a bit more caramel in the middle to bridge everything together. It makes a very very good cocktail though. Stands up beautifully in my whiskey sour.
