herbal, vanilla on the front, suprisingly picking up on some sweeter sherry notes in the begining, cereal, then more herb and a solid amount of earthy peat with a tinge of raspberry throughout. The finish is medium to long with a nice dry peatiness. There is a dash more sweetness than the original machir bay as this spec’s pick shows 15% sherry and 85% bourbon as opposed to the standard 10% sherry 90% bourbon, but its minimal. I also found this specs pic to be cheaper than the original machir bay, so if you see this review go for the specs pick!!!!
