Russell’s 13 year has loads of depth. Up front I’m getting loads of fruit. Some deep hints of moon drop grapes as well as blueberries. The oak is huge as well.. For me this has the perfect balance of bitter tannins and sweet oak. There is a light touxh of that classic Wild Turkey funk that comes through as you continue into sip three/four. The finish is mighty and deep.. big smokey oak lingers for a great deal of time.
