The nose is rich with vanilla, caramel, burnt coffee and toasted pipe tobacco.
The palate hits with a buttery and oily mouthfeel. Pepper and cinnamon start a journey that moves into other baking spices, toffee and a bit of a bitterness on the sides of the tongue.
The finish lasts forever with tannins, tobacco and burnt sugar.
Its a strong, in your face rye thats loads of fun to experience
As this bottle has aged and opened up, the nose has gained a sweet vanilla shortbread quality and the palate has a minced meat pie flavor of stewed raisins. Gets better with age!
