Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland

Bottle kill review. Easy to like.
Nose: Sherry, raisins, orange zest, toffee, hints of chocolate and nuts. Quite enjoyable.
Palate: Same as nose, plus some honey, baking spices, tobacco, french roast coffee grounds, barrel spices and caramel. A little thin, but still very enjoyable.
Finish: Long enough with honey, nuts, raisin, orange, french vanilla, baking and barrel spice notes. A little bitterness creeps in detracting from overall enjoyment.

@DjangoJohnson price definitely plays a part
@jdriip I think it’s those combined with the cost.
@Ctrexman I think I get what you mean. It has a really nice flavor profile, but the thin palate lets it down.
I really like Dalmore but feel its overrated at the same time
