As this bottle has opened up it has become more and more aware to me that the tasting features are phenomenal. I get lots of ‘pure’ floral notes on the nose and the front of the palate! Hints of rose water as well as some lavender white tea. The whisky is very rich on the mid-palate; which is where I find a sweet raw honey flavor as well as some hints of honeydew melon! A suggestion of smoke, oak, and sherry finish this whisky out making for a gentle and pleasant finish.
