Nose: Malty, biscuit, hint of the red wine
Taste: rich, full spicy, peppery, the syrah comes through with a dry matte finish. Feels akin to a glendronach but a little more chocolately and hints of nice bitter like an espresso
I waited three years to try this and not disappointed!
A lot of times I’m not a fan of the red wine finished but this adds nice subtle complexity, perhap even a little too subtle. The best of what I like in a dry dark red can be detected
