Blind tasting Nose: WTF is this. Pop rocks, blow pop, lollipops. Acetone, sweetness. Can’t tell if I’m gonna love this or hate this. Taste: strange. Tastes like what marijuana smells like. Pickley—Is this a rye? Texas whisky? Not single malt scotch. Cask type: ipa cask Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.25 Notes:? Weird, interesting, would have it a few times, but definitely not want a whole bottle

Blind tasting Nose: Sherry, cherry, fruity, Christmas spice Taste: spicy, sweet, umami, grassy Cask type: guessing it’s a double cask, oloroso, and bourbon Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Notes: nikka? Hibiki?

Blind tasting Nose: peaty but sweet, lagavulin or ardbeg Taste: light peat, hint of pineapple, slightly thin. Hint of rubber. Cask type: bourbon Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 Notes: Favorite so far in the advent calendar but don’t need a bottle Lagavulin rum? Would be a stretch

Blind tasting Nose: bourbon cask Taste: crisp, musty, light peat, light funk. A bit hot. Mushroom umami Cask type: ex bourbon. Maybe a Marsala or fino finish
