Outstanding nose. Taste - Getting lots of toffee and fall apple cider donut notes. Slight note of bitter dark chocolate. Nice vanilla finish with a rye profile Overall - The nose is better than the palate. Viscosity is medium, finish is really nice. The palate is not complex, but not as spicy as most 95/5 ryes. In fact I would have never had guessed this was a 95/5 rye. This is definitely on the sweeter side. Definitely worth the purchase. This seems like a bourbon lovers rye to be honest (lots more dark tones than rye notes) 4.3
