this sat for 204 months in a barrel. That’s 17 yrs folks. This packaging is absolutely trash. The 15 yr got a real embossed metal container with snap lid. It was a gorgeous presentation. Now this is cardboard painted to look like metal. Notice the wrinkles in the packaging. Ass cheeks! So for 190 you get elementary packaging.
Ok so the juice is tasty. If you like vanilla, oak and brown sugar that super easy to drink then this is your pour. At 110 proof with no sharp edges it’s is a remarkably easy sipper. With some homies you could crush this bottle.
Ok since Jim beam is sitting on some high age whiskey and started this 15 and 17 yr harden’s creek line I will say I’m impressed. Also the 2 yr harden’s creek expression is probably the best 2 yr whiskey I’ve ever had. But It’s 80 bucks for two yr. That’s a shame because if it were 40 that shit would be must have. Anyway I’m rambling. TGIF and Cheers.

Ha, yeah this packaging is garbage compared to the Jacobs Well of last year. Plus I despise pouring with that silly leather muzzle they put on the top that requires me hold it to the side or risk splashing bourbon outside the glass. I’ve since ripped that muzzle off to not deal with it anymore. Thankfully that liquid inside is a well-aged dusty oak bourbon treat that makes up for the marketing teams “creative” packaging. Great review.
