A sweetness off the bat reminiscent of honey, then turning into a drier but still relatively light dram. theres some oak, straw, dashes of caramel, little bits of minerality, char and then builds up to a moderate peat, higher than black label but milder than most islay. the finish is dry, medium length with light white pepper spice. This is a decent dram. Nothing stood out to me much other than its carribean point of purchase. its much better than black label but i feel even macleans nose beats this one.
