Honey, vanilla, black pepper, cereal grain a touch smoke. A decent amount of burn, more a tingling on the tongue than a harahness in the throat. A slight unctuous quality lends to the mouthdeel but overall kind of thin. All in all, it’s tasty and I’m not disappointed I bought it. Probably wouldn’t purchase again but it has me wanting to try more Irish whiskeys to change it up from the usual bourbon or scotch.
