Nose: salt air brinyness, peat dankness, vanilla, smoke. Getting a bit of oak here too.
Palate: chewy maltiness a mild vanilla sweetness. A hint of black pepper on the mid palate. Peat is prominent but in a lighter way than islay. Getting some honeyed pear here too. Salinity is consistent at the front and end palate, like a gentle sea breeze. Some dry oaky tanins here too fade into the finish. A mild nuttiness.
Finish: chewy malt fades into phenols that coat the middle of the tongue. Getting some barrel here too.
