White Horse Scotch was a quality blended Scotch whiskey. It now has no Lagavulin listed on the label. White Horse is 40% malt from Speyside malts. The nose consists of spices, caramel, and sandalwood. Entry is creamy with a palate of toffee, and spice. The finish ends with sandalwood and citrus.
I miss the peat from Lagavulin. There is no peat, smoke, heather, or honey. It is a sad day Diageo took the Scotch flavors out of this Scotch blend. Blindfolded I would have thought this was a lower-level Irish Whisky
