Nose: Rye spiciness hits the nose with mint and vanila and tiny bit of earthy grain. Palate: Relatively smooth with not as mich jeat at you would expect from 112 proof. The vanilla comes in strong with some marmalade in the backgroud. Oily and soft mouthfeel. Finish: Is long lasting, dry oak more earthy grassy flavors are in the backend of the sip. Solid rye whiskey that has a heavier rye spice then other Kentucky ryes.
